Overview
RM Suttner ST167 Foam injector with chemically resistant metering valve.
The ST167 easyfoam365+ foam injector can be used in combination with a foam lance (ST72, ST74 or ST75), an adjustable or triple nozzle. This will enable the injector to draw chemical into the water stream. These injectors are available in nozzle sizes of 1.2mm - 2.3mm, chemical dosing can be adjusted by turning the attached metering valve. The lever enables the user to easily switch from chemical to rinse mode. The ST167 is also available in a 500 bar version.
These injectors are used in many industries for industrial cleaning including Agriculture, Automotive and the Food processing industry. This is an essential piece of equipment for anyone looking to design and build an efficient cleaning system within a factory environment. Suitable for systems used to clean vehicles carrying cattle and food processing areas to avoid bacterial spread.
The ST167 easyfoam365+ foam injector is available in nozzle sizes of 1.2 - 2.8mm.
Advantages of foam cleaning
Foam enables the chemical being used longer contact time with the surface it is applied to. Another great advantage of foam cleaning is it gives the user the ability to easily view which surfaces have already been covered.

Which nozzle size do I need?
In order for the foam injector to add chemical to the water stream the pressure being exerted through the injector needs to be lowered. It is important to get the correct injector size combined with foam nozzle size. The larger the hole where the water flow exits the lower the pressure becomes. The higher the water flow of the system the injector is operating on the larger the nozzle hole needs to be. This ensures the pressure is kept low enough to create the vacuum effect required to add chemical to the water stream. If you know the flow and pressure of the system your injector will be working on you can use our interactive chart below to ensure you select the correct products.
We highly recommend using a chemical filter on the end of your chemical tube. This helps to prevent any unwanted debris possibly entering your chemical injector and causing a blockage. Always check the viscosity of the chemical you are using as this can greatly affect the draw rate of the chemical into the water stream. If your injector does not have a metering valve like this one, dosing of chemical can be adjusted by adding one of the ten nozzles inserts which are provided with each injector.

You will need to know the flow rate and pressure of the pressure washer or system that the injector is to be installed.
Firstly select the closest flow rate (round up if required)
Then move right across the chart until you are at the closest pressure column.
The top number (1.6) is the injector size.
For foam injectors not using compressed air the number in brackets underneath is the correct ST75 foam lance size required.
