Overview

ST75.1 Foam Head NO NOZZLE M18F Black

ST75.1 Foam Head by RM Suttner can create thick dense foam just like the ST75, however the ST75.1 agitates the chemical and water together by means of a mesh membrane, rather than a stainless steel pad. The advantages of this is that if there is a blockage the mesh can be removed and easily opened out and thoroughly rinsed. The mesh can be re-inserted into the foam head to continue use as normal. This is a much easier process than cleaning a clogged stainless steel foam pad which could potentailly need replacing with a new foam pad. This product compliments the Suttner range of easyfoam365+ foam injectors and has an easily changeable aerator nozzle to allow the head to be used in different applications. Use our interactive foam nozzle sizing chart to help you bring together all the products required to create thick foam.

Why use foam to clean?

Enhanced Contact Time: Foam has a higher viscosity than liquid, which allows it to adhere to surfaces and stay in place for a longer period. This extended contact time helps cleaning agents to effectively penetrate and dissolve dirt, grease, and other contaminants.

Improved Coverage:
Foam can be generated to cover a larger area than a liquid spray, ensuring that cleaning agents reach even hard-to-reach or hidden areas. This helps ensure a more thorough and consistent cleaning process.

Reduced Runoff and Overspray:
Foam clings to surfaces, minimizing runoff and overspray. This is particularly important in applications where excessive liquid runoff can be problematic or wasteful.

Less Water Usage:
The foam's ability to adhere to surfaces and effectively clean with less water can lead to water savings in comparison to traditional cleaning methods.

Gentle on Surfaces:
Foam tends to have a lower impact force on surfaces compared to high-pressure liquid sprays, reducing the potential for damage or wear.

Safer for Operators:
Foam can encapsulate and contain hazardous materials, minimizing the risk of exposure for operators. It can also reduce the dispersion of potentially harmful particles into the air.

Versatility:
Foam cleaning can be adapted to various surfaces, substances, and industries, ranging from food processing and automotive detailing to industrial equipment cleaning and firefighting.

Economical:
Foam can help extend the coverage of cleaning agents, making them more economical in the long run.

Reduced Chemical Usage:
Foam can help reduce the amount of cleaning agents required while maintaining effective cleaning performance. This can lead to cost savings and environmental benefits.

Visual Aid:
Foam provides a visual indication of the areas that have been treated, helping operators ensure thorough coverage during the cleaning process.

Help with sizes

Use the below chart to help you select the correct injector size.

Using the chart

You will need to know the flow rate and pressure of the pressure washer or system that the injector is to be installed.

Firstly select the closest flow rate (round up if required)

Then move right across the chart until you are at the closest pressure column.

The top number (1.6) is the injector size.

The number in brackets underneath is the recommended ST75 foam lance required.
